Finding One's Purpose    
I was preparing my newsletter Mind's Eye
for the month of February. The theme that I wanted to talk about is how we find our purpose in life. I was
speaking about the fact that there may be many of us who are searching, looking for the symbol that identifies our meaning
in the world. Some of us know our purpose, and then there are some of us who do not. How do we find
it? My belief is that the way to find it is through the sound of a quiet voice that can only be heard within
us if we are calm. While we are living our life, this quiet voice could be heard within us or through other people!
All we are asked to do, is to tuned ourselves and listen for that sign of purpose. Another words, I believe
it is something that we have to be open for in finding our purpose in life, in order to receive it.
This is a thought that has been on my mind for some time. In general, the words
that I express often are Imagination and Inspiration. I 'm still working on building my brand with my doll creations
and writing, and their purpose. What I can say about my doll creations, is that they strengthen my imagination
and inspiration. They inspire me to write short stories and poems. The act of creation helps me to design
"doll" characters that are not of this world, but hold relation to the people we are today. To create, for
me, is to be able to express the beauty, the sadness, the opportunities of the times we live in, through art work, through
writing. It also allows me to escape from the toughness of today's world and daily labors. I hope to offer those gifts
to people who see my dolls, and also read my books and writings. We all know how it is to need a lift away from
sadness, stress and unfortunate happenings. If we could hold a place inside of us at all times that reminds us that there
is a place where we are safe; that we are appreciated for who we are; where the vision of peace and tranquility
cover us like a comforting blanket. This divine type intervention, this pocket of heaven, can help us to face up
to the many obstacles that come our way. So the gift of Imagination and Inspiraton, is a gift of the divine.So that we
may happily search, find and carry our purpose in life.
